Hey there, lovely readers! πŸ’– It's been a whirlwind lately with my back-to-school preparations and squeezing in as much work as possible. Amidst this bustling schedule, I managed to steal a few moments for today's post. πŸ“Έ

With the sun shining so brightly, I couldn't resist slipping into something sleeveless and pairing it with a long, flowy skirt. This top, in particular, holds a special place in my heart – it boasts a playful print and a charming zipper detail at the back. Typically, I style it with pants, but today, I thought, why not embrace the skirt for a change? 🌞

Honestly, this may not be my all-time favorite look, but gosh, it's incredibly comfortable and perfect for the scorching hot weather. To add a little extra flair, I decided to strut around in my trusty wedges. Not only do they make walking a breeze, but they also give me a lovely height boost. πŸ‘‘

Work beckons, so I'll keep this post short and sweet. πŸ“š Thank you for dropping by Crazywasabii – your love and support mean the world to me! Keep visiting for more style adventures and inspiration. 😘

Wishing you all peace and fabulous fashion vibes!

XOXO! πŸ’ƒ

SUMMER CRUSH.

Hey there, lovely readers! 🐾 So, my little fur baby Mochi hasn't been feeling his best, and I've been on 'round-the-clock pet duty since the wee hours at 2:30AM. Fingers crossed he'll be in tip-top shape by tomorrow, but if not, it's off to the vet we go. Thankfully, my other four-legged cutie Toshi is perfectly fine. Yep, I'm a proud mom of two adorable paw babies! Toshi, my bichon and yorkie mix, is a charming 4-year-old, while Mochi, my purebred shih-tzu, is almost 4. I've had these two balls of fluff since they were just 2 months old, and they've filled my life with endless joy.

Now, I must admit, I'm not exactly a morning person, but Mochi's unexpected wake-up calls have certainly mixed up my usual routine. πŸ˜… But hey, that's all part of being a pet parent, right?

Anyway, let's talk fashion! Yesterday, despite the windy weather that sent my hair into a tizzy, we managed to capture some lovely non-windblown shots. The sun was shining brilliantly, though the high exposure did make the colors look a bit different from reality.

Now, about my outfit – I've been sporting black, even though it's basically fall weather in the middle of summer. I'm not a fan of the cold, so I've been bundled up in dark hues. But, a follower of mine suggested it's time to embrace some vibrant summer colors before the season slips away. So, here's the scoop!

For this look, I decided to go with an analogous color scheme, all warm tones, except for my trusty black ankle boots. The black strap on the skirt was a fantastic detail – it saved me from needing a belt, and it gave my outfit that extra pop to define the waistline. Of course, my black boots were a perfect match. To keep things fresh and light, I kept accessories to a minimum.

Oh, and speaking of those boots – they're the ones I've been raving about! Aren't they just amazing?! 😍 What do you think of this look? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Let's cherish these remaining hot summer days with a burst of color and style! πŸŒžπŸŒˆπŸ’ƒ

MBD DAY.

Dress - TJMaxx
Jacket - Macy's

Shoes - BCBGeneration

Bag - Nordstrom
Happy Monday, lovely readers! Today's outfit is all about going back to black, well, almost! I had stashed away all my fall and winter goodies in storage boxes, as my closet space is far from being luxurious like some lucky fashionistas. My shoes and winter wardrobe share a snug little space, but guess what? I managed to unearth a fabulous new maxi dress! It fits me like a glove, well, almost winks. To prevent any accidental street mopping or tripping, I teamed it with some sky-high heels. What really makes this dress pop is the delicate lace detail on the front and those chic button accents that offer a tantalizing peek of skin. And the best part? This dress is versatile enough to take you from day to night glam effortlessly.

For today's look, I'm flaunting a stunning maxi black dress (MBD), but with a twist – a fiery red clutch for that perfect pop of color! You might have noticed by now, I'm a firm believer in adding a splash of color to my outfits.

Here's a nifty tip to look taller: Embrace maxi dresses and skirts! A well-tailored dress or skirt can work wonders, making you appear taller without a doubt. Just keep an eye on that hemline, so you don't end up embarrassing yourself with any accidental stumbles. While the tall ladies can get away with flip-flops and sandals, petites like me can totally rock a pair of wedges or heels underneath. It's all about creating those illusions, and having fun while you're at it!
Oh, if you are into wrestling stuffs do check out my friend's blog here.

POKER DOTS.

Dress - Nordstrom

Jacket - Macy's

Bag - ALDO
Shoes - BCBGeneration

Happy Sunday! I returned home from Indy earlier than expected yesterday, and my eyes lit up when I spotted the most incredible pair of Miu Miu shoes. It was an instant love affair, and I simply had to have them. But that's not where the magic ended; I also laid my eyes on a fabulous leather jacket by Marc New York, a striking red Zac Posen bag, and a couple of non-designer bags that caught my attention. O.M.G! The choices were overwhelming... I was reluctant to part with any of them, but my father wisely advised against the non-zippered bag since I'm known for my clumsiness – who knows what might tumble out without me noticing until the next day! So, I was left with just two treasures in my hands.

After another half hour of shopping deliberation, I decided to go for the Miu Miu boots, considering the ongoing warm weather. I even said to the jacket, "Don't worry, my stylish friend, I'll be back for you next month!" Yes, I admit, I may have had a little chat with the jacket. In the end, I came home with two cute non-designer bags, a lovely polka dot dress, and my brand new favorite Miu Miu boots. I couldn't have been happier.

Turns out, I completely underestimated the weather – it's getting chilly outside, and summer is officially waving goodbye. I really should have grabbed that leather jacket! So, for now, I'll be reaching for my trusty old jacket. And can you believe it, this might just be my very first polka dot dress! It's oh-so-feminine and incredibly comfortable. To let the dress steal the spotlight, I went with a nude palette, adding a pop of turquoise with my wedges. I hope you enjoy this look as much as I did, and I wish you a fantastic weekend ahead. πŸŒŸπŸ’–

LANDSCAPE STORY.

Dress - H&M
Bag - ALDO

Necklace - Francescas Collection
Shoes - Michael Kors

"Happy Saturday! Today, I'm excited to share my adventure in Indy (Indianapolis) as I embark on a delightful retail therapy escapade, and I won't be back until the clock strikes midnight. Ah, the sheer joy of shopping! Every trip to Indy or Chicago fills me with excitement because it means new additions to my beloved wardrobe. I've already prepared these images for you in advance so you won't miss a single post, even when I'm out indulging in retail therapy and savoring some delectable treats.

Yesterday was my day off, and I must admit it involved a bit of indulgence in the culinary department. I treated myself to a feast, enjoying BBQ rib tips, a mouthwatering gyro sandwich, a classic Chicago hotdog, some crispy fries, and a selection of tempting chocolates. I'm starting to think I should consider reducing my intake of these delicious but not-so-healthy treats. I did contemplate sharing some of those food pics on the blog, but in the end, I decided against it. In addition to shopping and fashion, I have a fondness for capturing the beauty of the culinary world through photography.

The dress I'm wearing today had been waiting in my wardrobe for its moment to shine. Unfortunately, it didn't fit quite right, so I had to make some alterations. Lesson learned: always try on before making a purchase. While I adore H&M clothing, some of their items seem to have peculiar sizing, or perhaps I'm just on the petite side. During the photo shoot, I couldn't help but grow a bit restless from all the standing around, so I decided to attempt the famous levitate pose. Notice the key word, "attempted"? Well, let's just say it didn't quite go as planned, and I wrapped up the shoot with an impromptu jump shot.

Today's outfit is all about simplicity and a touch of whimsy. The dress features a serene landscape scene, and its predominantly cool blue tones have found the perfect companion in a warm orange accent to complete this charming look.

PRINTED PANTS.

Top - Abercrombie and Fitch
Pants - Abercrombie & Fitch
Sunglasses - Duty Free (Canada)
Vest - Forever21
Bag - Oliver + Joy
Shoes - Guess?

Happy Friday, everyone! It's my day off today, but since I generously handed over my car to my boyfriend for the day, I find myself housebound. Fortunately, I managed to snap a few pics for today's post yesterday after work, or else you'd have to wait until 6 or 7-ish for the latest update.

Now, let's dive into today's fashion journey, shall we? Printed pants! Oh, they're an absolute blast and incredibly versatile to play with. You can effortlessly match them with a simple, solid top for a classic look or go all out with a delightful print-on-print combo for that extra chic factor. I, for one, opted for a stylish black and white contrast vest, coupled with some fabulous leather ankle boots to elevate this casual ensemble.

Matching my bag with one of the colors from my fabulous printed pants, I couldn't help but smile at the playful coordination. That's the beauty of colorful printed pants; they're like a blank canvas for your accessory creativity! These pants are statement pieces all on their own, so don't hesitate to dive into this daring look. Trust me; it's a fashion adventure worth taking! πŸ˜„πŸ’ƒπŸ‘–πŸ‘œπŸ‘’✨

CUFFED DENIM.

Dress - Hollister
Shirt - Abercrombie & Fitch
Bag - Michael Kors

Shoes - BCBGeneration

I managed to snap these photos yesterday before heading out to an optional class meeting. I've been a bundle of nerves since I left the room – it seems like everyone else already has exciting ideas for their senior thesis. But thank goodness, a spark of inspiration struck me while my boyfriend and I were driving to the garage. I'm not entirely sure if my idea will get the green light, but fingers crossed! 🀞

Flashback to '05 when I used to work at Hollister, and guess what? I still shop there regularly. Their clothes are incredibly comfy, and the best part is they're budget-friendly. Plus, they've got sales going on all the time. And speaking of deals, Abercrombie and Fitch is currently offering a jaw-dropping 60% off on their clearance items. I snagged this stylish denim shirt for just $18 before tax (originally priced at $78). What a steal, right?!? I can't promise how long this amazing deal will last, so if you're an A&F fan, you won't want to miss this opportunity. πŸ˜„ In fact, A&F and Hollister Co., if you're reading this, I'm open to collaboration! πŸ˜‰

I love mixing feminine dresses with edgy denim – it gives you that effortlessly cute yet not overly girly look. To balance out the outfit, I paired it with some chic pumps and kept my makeup natural to soften the overall appearance. Well, that's all for today. If you ended up doing some shopping as I suggested, let me know in the comments below. Happy shopping, everyone! πŸ’ƒπŸ›️

SCARF IT.

Dress - MNG by MANGO
Sunglasses - (from a boutique in Canada)
Scarf - Jason Wu by Target
Shoes - Dolce Vita

Bag - Louis Vuitton

I decided to switch things up today and venture into a new style territory. Summertime and scarves don't usually go hand in hand, but they're just sitting in our closets, taking up space and collecting dust. What a waste, right? I must admit, I haven't been much of a scarf enthusiast myself, and my collection is rather small. But, let me tell you about this recent addition to my wardrobe – a loose, oversized coral dress that I snagged a few weeks ago at JCPenney.

You've probably noticed by now that I'm all about loose, comfortable clothing lately. These wide sleeves, oh, they're a dream! They let the breeze in and keep things well-ventilated (if that's even a term you can use to describe clothing, but who cares?). However, when I first tried on the dress without a belt, it felt like the dress was wearing me instead of the other way around. So, what did I do? Instead of reaching for a belt, I grabbed a scarf and tied it around my waist. VoilΓ ! Instant shape, and it gave the dress a more relaxed, casual look.

I'm all about making the most of your wardrobe, and those beautiful scarf collections should never go to waste. Keeping it simple, I opted for minimal accessories and a comfy pair of sandals. The result? A perfect daytime look that's as breezy and laid-back as a summer's day. What's your take on it? Let me know your thoughts! 😊

CORAL PEPLUM.

Dress - Macy's
Shoes - Vince Camuto
Accessories - Bebe
Bag - Louis Vuitton

What a whirlwind of a day! I've been dashing about from one place to another, but I'm finally settling down to share some lovely photos with you. You won't believe it, but my family pointed out that the dress I featured in yesterday's post didn't quite suit my body. So, today I found a little time to capture some fresh snapshots. The weather had other plans, though; the wind was absolutely relentless! I wish I'd chosen something more flowy, but alas, I didn't even have a hair tie to wrangle my unruly locks. It felt like the wind was playing tricks on me, leaving my hair untamed and the sun blinding my eyes – everything just seemed to go awry!

Alright, I promise I'll stop my little venting session and get right into today's outfit. Peplum, oh peplum, you timeless wonder! I adore how it gracefully conceals the mid-section. I could indulge in a hearty BBQ chicken leg quarter, corn, baked beans, and a cream cheese pie right before the photo session, and still, it appears as if I've been living on lettuce. No judgment, I'm a food lover through and through!

Now, let's talk about this vibrant coral beauty. It's such a playful and youthful color, don't you think? Perfect for these sunny summer days! To elongate my legs, I decided to pair it with chic nude pumps. To add a little extra flair, I accessorized with a statement necklace that beautifully complements the black accents on the dress. I made sure my bracelet and earrings matched as well.

I hope you enjoy this delightful look as much as I enjoyed putting it together! πŸ’ƒπŸŒžπŸ‘—πŸŒΌ

LEATHER CREPE.

Top - DKNY

Earring - Chanel

Thank you, Rain! You really saved me from frying last night. Unfortunately, I won't be able to go out to snap some pics, as it's been raining cats and dogs, and my trusty photographer (aka my boyfriend) is currently out of town. So, we decided to be proactive and capture my second outfit ahead of time. I'll just share what I wore yesterday instead of my usual 'outfit of the day.' This twist of plans could turn out to be quite exciting. And hey, if the rain sticks around this evening, you might just catch me sporting a chic trench coat tomorrow!

My eyes instantly locked onto this gorgeous top as I strolled through the DKNY store. The loose-fitting style and the lovely crepe-like texture (I'm not exactly sure of the term, but it's fabulous!) were simply irresistible. Loose-fit clothing has become my go-to choice this summer. I tucked the top into a faux leather pencil skirt and paired it with sleek leather ankle boots for a polished look. I kept the accessories minimal because, well, sometimes less is more, right?πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•
