DENIM DRESS.

Top - Abercrombie & Fitch

Bag - Nordstrom

Guess what, folks? I had an eye checkup yesterday, and I got some fantastic news – my prescription has actually improved! It's been nearly a month since I last wore contact lenses, and my eyes are absolutely loving the break. Looks like my vision is thanking me for it! Plus, here's the exciting bit: I'm toying with the idea of getting Lasik surgery after I graduate. With my prescription going down, it means lower costs for each eye. And just think of all the fabulous new fashion finds I can splurge on with the extra money...hehe! 😄

Yesterday was one of those 'I don't feel like dressing up' days since I had the day off. Comfort was the name of the game, so I opted for a shirt paired with a cute strappy denim dress (I'm not entirely sure what it's called, to be honest). To give my feet a well-deserved break from those pesky heels, I slipped into my sparkly, fun flats. You see, I don't wear heels all the time, mainly to avoid those calf muscles that seem to grow like crazy. Some may find them attractive, but not me, sorry. I'm all about flats, sandals, and flip-flops whenever possible. Besides, I'm always running late, so I'd rather dash in flats than risk breaking a heel or, heaven forbid, a tooth! 🏃‍♀️😅

Here's a little secret for you: that denim dress? I've had it since middle school. I know, right? It's a bit sad that I haven't grown much, but I have this quirky habit of stashing away some of my old clothes in a suitcase. Every year or so, I try them on just to see if they still fit. So far, so good! 😄

Well, today, I should probably be getting ready for work, but it's been a blast hanging out with you all. Thanks a million for visiting my fashion blog!

Peace and fabulous style!" ✌🛍️😄

MIRRORED AVIATOR.

Shirt - JFK airport, NYC
Belt - DKNY
Shorts - Macy's

Jacket - Abercrombie & Fitch
Bracelets - 18K Gold
Rings - Forever21
It looks like summer, but it already feels like fall is here. I'm not ready to tuck away my summer shorts just yet. So, I've decided to extend their life into the autumn season by experimenting with new combinations, even though that's not typically my style. I want to challenge myself to create fresh outfits from my wardrobe, so I'm giving it a shot.

I've got a soft spot for "I <3 ___" shirts, and they're always at the top of my must-buy list whenever my family embarks on a vacation. This time around, my sis picked one up for me during her trip to the Big Apple, New York City, along with a bunch of other NYC-themed goodies like "I <3 NY" pens, chocolates, and more. Come to think of it, she's been to NYC about 12 times, and I probably have a stash of 12 I <3 NY shirts tucked away in my storage box. Oh, Lord!

As the wind starts to get a bit chilly, I've opted for a denim on denim look and added my brand new mirrored aviator shades. The aviator shape might not be the best fit for my round face, but I'm in an experimental phase, trying to discover my style, so I went for it. Plus, they look super cool! I even felt a little like a badass cop.

I originally planned to pair this outfit with boots, but I couldn't resist embracing my feminine side. Let's be honest; I was a tad intimidated to go full-on edgy. After all, confidence is the key to rocking any outfit, isn't it? Oh, by the way, did you guys notice my cute neko "cat" ring? The ring set came with panda, bunny, and these adorable cat ears. I'm totally obsessed with girly, kawaii "cute" stuff and just couldn't resist. They are absolutely adorable!

The denim on denim trend is something I'd highly recommend, guys. This goes for all of you too! I'm pretty sure almost all of you have a jean jacket or shirt hidden somewhere in your closet, and who doesn't own a pair of jeans, right? Pairing them together is super easy. If you're a beginner, you can start by wearing a lighter shade on top and a darker one at the bottom. What do you think of this look?

Let's embrace the changing seasons with style and a little touch of sweetness, shall we?

FLOWER CROWN.

Dress - Forever21

Bag - Givenchy (Parfume)
Flower Crown - DIY
Shoes - Vince Camuto

I woke up this morning with a beaming smile, and I've got some fantastic news to share with all of you lovely readers! I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I've been featured on Scarves & Wraps for their 'Scarf Style: Top 10 Blogger Looks of July 2013'! The wonderful Jan, the owner, reached out to me about this, and somehow, I managed to snag the 8th spot. I must admit, every time I get featured on Chictopia for 'top today' or 'top week,' it fills me with so much excitement. But this is a whole new level of joy because someone discovered my blog and found it interesting. Your support means the world to me, and I'm so grateful for making my day brighter.

These past few days have been quite a whirlwind. I was out of town for a while, and then my boyfriend's car had to be sent for service, so I had to lend him mine. I felt a bit guilty that I couldn't share anything with you for a couple of days. I did try to take indoor pictures, but the lighting in my cozy space just didn't do justice to the outfits. You know, I'm all about those fabulous outdoor shots. While I was out shopping in Indy, I picked up a flower crown from Forever21. It cost me around 12 or 14 bucks for a simple headband. But here's the fun part: I also swung by the dollar store and grabbed a bunch of flowers to DIY my own crown. As expected, it was a blast, super easy, and budget-friendly!

Now, for today's look, I'm rocking a peplum dress I recently scored at Forever21. It was on sale, so I couldn't resist even though the waist area was a tad roomier than my usual size. Looking back at these pictures, I'm thinking a belt would have been a great idea to cinch in that waistline, but, honestly, I didn't feel the need at the time. Plus, I was in a bit of a belt dilemma – couldn't decide which one to go with! Oh well, maybe some alterations will help solve the belt situation for next time. What do you all think of this flower crown look? Love it or not so much?

Sending peace, love, and smiles your way!

BLUE TOURIST.

Top - Nordstorm
Bottom - BCBGMaxAzria
Shoes - Zara
Bag - Chanel

I had a fabulous time in Chicago yesterday, indulging in some delectable food and enjoying some retail therapy. I even brought my trusty laptop, thinking I'd have a chance to blog while on the go, but the day was so packed with excitement that I didn't get a moment to sit down and write. I didn't get back home until the wee hours of the morning, so I decided it was best to catch some Zs instead.

It's remarkable how much technology has changed our lives. I remember the days when we relied on GPS for navigating the bustling city streets, but after visiting Chicago multiple times each year (mostly for those delightful dim sum outings), I've become a pro at navigating the city's twists and turns. Of course, I couldn't resist picking up a few treasures for my wardrobe during my shopping spree, including a pair of shoes from Zara, some fabulous finds from BCBGMaxAzria, and a couple of pieces from Nordstrom. I even had my eyes on a Chanel bag from the Boy Collection, but I decided to be a bit more prudent and save that money for my senior project. My sister Ei Ei was thrilled with my decision, and I'm sure my older sister, Yu Yu, will be too. I can't wait to share the news with her!

I had plans to hit the shops in Indianapolis today, but before I rushed off, I wanted to make sure to share some fresh pics with you all. For my Chicago outing, I chose to wear my jersey dress shirt along with a fabulous body-con skirt from BCBGMaxAzria. This skirt is an absolute favorite of mine because it's made with 80% spandex and works its magic to hug and contour my belly just right. I opted for some comfy, stylish heels to ensure I could explore the city for hours on end without needing to swap out for flats.

Now, I'm off to Indy for a crab leg buffet adventure! 🦀 Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your weekend is as eventful and fantastic as mine has been.

Sending you all a big dose of peace and positive vibes! ✌️😊
