OVERSIZED JACKET.

Jacket - Derek Lam
Dress - Max Studio

Bracelets - 14K Gold
Bag - Louis Vuitton

Yesterday, my family and I had a spontaneous adventure at Aldo's. I had initially set my sights on some fabulous boots, but time slipped away, and I never got the chance to slip my feet into them. Instead, I found myself in the delightful world of bags, helping my sister pick out the perfect one. However, I did manage to snag a pair of cool black studded sandals. I had my heart set on both a nude and black pair, but, alas, my size was nowhere to be found. A friendly sales rep suggested I order them online, but I hesitated, still carrying a bit of online shopping trauma from past experiences.

In the midst of our shopping spree, I couldn't resist the allure of Victoria's Secret, where they were having a fabulous panty party. I stocked up on some cute undies, a little indulgence to brighten my day. While shopping at Circle Center, I had high hopes that we'd find time to make our way to Nordstrom, but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. The absence of a Nordstrom in my city left me feeling a bit disappointed. On the bright side, I heard that Carson's is set to open in Fort Wayne this month. Rumor has it that it's similar to Macy's but even better. I've never had the chance to explore Carson's at Circle Center, probably because I always get lured away by the bedding section near the entrance. Show me shoes, and you've got my attention!

As for my outfit of the day, comfort is always a top priority for me. I threw on an oversized jacket over a simple dress, and my hair was styled in a relaxed messy bun. I'd like to call this my loose, comfy, and casual look. I didn't fuss over accessories, except for my trusty sunglasses and my beloved bracelets (not to forget my anklet, which has been a constant companion lately). What's your take on this jacket? 🌟

MODERN LEOPARD.

Dress - H&M

Hat - H&M
Tie - H&M
Bag - Lulu's
Boots - H&M

I've been rocking these boots practically every day. I apologize if you're getting tired of seeing them, but hey, I can't help it – they're just too good! Remember that outrageous maxi dress from my last H&M shopping spree? Yup, this is the one – a big, boxy maxi dress! Maxi dresses can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you're not super tall, but that's where my trusty wedges and high heels come to the rescue. The best part about this dress? It has a funky print that's giving me some serious leopard vibes, plus a cute cutout at the back. And believe it or not, I snagged this gem for just 10 bucks. Can you believe the steal?

Oh, and remember that time I turned a scarf into a belt? You can check out the details right here. Well, when I tried on this dress at H&M, it needed a little extra oomph. So, I went on a mission to find the perfect waist-cincher and ended up in the men's section, where I stumbled upon a necktie. I decided to double-wrap it and tied it into a charming bow – and just like that, a tie became a belt! What's your take on this stylish twist?

And speaking of great deals, if you're into shopping, ALDO is currently offering a fantastic 15% off for their Labor Day weekend sale, both online and in-store. Don't forget to use the "SLDAY13" code when you check out online. It's only valid until Monday, so don't miss out! I've had a few hiccups with ALDO's online shopping, but their shoes and bags are too good to resist. I'm even considering a road trip to Indy just to snag that deal.

Anyhow, I hope you're loving my tie belt idea and that you have an incredible weekend, my awesome readers!

DOTTED PANTS.

Shirt - Abercrombie & Fitch
Pants - Forever21
Bag - LuLu
Shoes - H&M

I'm a self-proclaimed snoozeaholic (if it's not a real word, it totally should be). Mornings and I don't exactly see eye to eye, but I can't escape the fact that early risings are a necessary evil for things like, you know, classes and adulting. Thank the universe that I managed to dodge those 7:30 AM classes this semester—THANK YOU, UNIVERSE! Despite my best intentions, I snoozed a tad longer than planned today, and I had to resort to the "grab whatever's in the closet and dash to class" routine. Fingers crossed it doesn't turn into my daily ritual like last semester.

Now, let's talk fashion! A few weeks back, I stumbled upon these classic black and white polka dot pants at Forever21. They were showcased on a mannequin, and my heart literally did a little happy dance. Thankfully, a helpful sales rep managed to track down one of the last two pairs they had left, and guess what? I practically had hearts in my eyes and the cheesiest grin on my face when she handed me my size. I might not have looked as cute as an anime character, but the excitement level was off the charts, if you catch my drift!

Fast forward to yesterday, and I found myself strolling into H&M. I intended to buy just the leather vest but, oh boy, you know how it goes. I walked out with the vest and a bunch of other things I can't even remember (probably items I don't really need). I couldn't resist, so I returned to H&M today for the pair of pants I mentioned earlier. Everything about them, the colors, the patterns, you name it, it all looked perfect...until I tried them on. My inner shopaholic struck again, and I left the store with not just the pants but also a shirt with fringes (fringes aren't even my usual jam), a hat, a men's tie, and a maxi dress that's quite the head-turner. It's a classic case of falling for the store's tricks. Has that ever happened to you guys? Share your stories in the comments below.

Wishing you all an amazing weekend, and, as always, a heartfelt thank you for dropping by my blog.

Peace! 😄🛍️💕

WHITE LINES.

Top - H&M
Bottom - Abercrombie & Fitch

Necklace - Betsey Johnson
Boots - H&M

Happy Friday, lovely readers! I can't express how much I've missed connecting with all of you. Over the past few days, I've been wishing every morning not to wake up looking like a zombie, just so I can snap some pics to share. Unfortunately, I've been battling a stubborn cold/allergy combo lately, and if it doesn't get better by next week, I might just have to pay a visit to my trusty doctor.

In the meantime, I've been pampering my skin with extra moisturizers, especially around my nose area, and opting for long sleeves to stay cozy. Today, I'm excited to showcase this oversized striped shirt, which happens to be a sheer gem that I can wear in so many delightful ways. I've layered a black cami underneath, making it school-appropriate. Plus, since it's oversized, I decided to tie the bottom around my waist to create a flattering silhouette.

I've been inseparable from this fabulous bag lately; I swear I'll use it until it practically falls apart. It fits my 13" Mac, sketchbook, tablet, and basically my entire life – talk about versatility!

Now, let's chat about these boots. I had some mixed feelings about them at first. Firstly, I used to detest anything that required lacing up, because, let's be real, I'm all about that efficiency, especially when trying on outfits in the mall (hence my preference for flats during shopping sprees – I might have mentioned that before). Secondly, they're higher than what I'm used to, and I was a bit intimidated by the idea of strutting around in them.

But here's the twist: I've fallen head over heels in love with these boots. They're incredibly comfortable and perfect for running around in – yes, I did say "run around." If you're on the lookout for a pair of sky-high yet oh-so-cozy platform booties, look no further. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Oh, and speaking of shopping, guess what? H&M is currently offering a fantastic 15% discount for all students and teachers, simply by flashing your school ID. Hurry, though, because this offer ends TODAY (August 30)!!! Treat yourself to a new pair of pants or whatever your heart desires, because you absolutely deserve it. I, for one, am heading back to H&M today to snag those super stretchy pants.

Wishing you a delightful shopping experience at H&M and hoping you have a truly awesome day ahead!

Peace, love, and fabulous fashion! 😊🛍👢👜💕

MY BOYFRIEND.

Top - Forever21

Jeans - Michael Kors
Bracelet - BCBG MaxAzria
Belt - Gucci
Bag - ALDO
Shoes - BCBGeneration

Happy Saturday! I had an absolute blast last night and, as a result, I found it a bit challenging to crawl out of bed this morning. But for this weekend's relaxed and effortlessly chic look, I've opted for a simple t-shirt and my favorite pair of jeans. This trusty t-shirt has been a part of my wardrobe for a few years, though I've only worn it twice before today. I just couldn't bear to part with it, thanks to the charming text it proudly displays.

Now, about this Gucci belt, it started off as a gift for my boyfriend, but he's not a fan of wearing it. Since we pretty much share the same body size, I've happily adopted it into my outfit. Sometimes, I'll even 'borrow' a few of his loose-fit tees, because who can resist a cozy and oversized shirt from time to time?

Fort Wayne has a delightful festival happening today, and word on the street is that there will be some scrumptious food involved. I'm definitely going to swing by and check it out, hoping to tantalize my taste buds with some mouthwatering treats. Here's to hoping your day is just as eventful and full of fun!

Sending you all the good vibes and a big, warm hug. Peace!

SHEER DAY.

Top - H&M
Skirt - BCBG MaxAzria

Shoes - Zara
Bag - Michael Kors

When I slip into sheer tops, I can't help but add a bandeau or a full coverage bra underneath for that touch of charm without going overboard. Sheer tops are an absolute blast to wear – they offer a tantalizing peek of skin and keep you feeling fresh during the summer, while they can also be layered up for a fabulous fall look. I've chosen to wear this one to celebrate my friend's birthday, and I've tied the bottom to give it a touch of class, with just the right amount of casual chic.

And how about this MK bag? It's like a whisper of sleek and chic style! I'm totally in love with it.

Alright, it's time to party! Catch you soon!

Peace, love, and fabulous fashion!

LEATHER ADDICTION.

Jacket - Wilson
T-shirt - Hanes
Skirt - H&M
Shoes - Zara

Bag - Calvin Klein

Summer isn't over just yet, but I've already caught myself dressing for fall. Oh, leather – what can I say about it? It's a wardrobe essential that works for almost every season. You can effortlessly style it with dresses, shorts, skirts, well, pretty much anything, and it never goes out of style – like, ever! 😄 Hopefully, I'll find the time to sneak in a quick shopping trip to Indy or Chicago before heading back to school next week.

Since I'm mixing faux leathers and real ones, I decided to pair them with a comfy cotton t-shirt. Not only does the cotton fabric help beat the heat, but it also adds a relaxed, casual vibe to the outfit. Oh, and I couldn't resist rolling up the sleeves for that extra touch of personality. White tees, they're as basic as it gets but a total all-season staple, right?

Now, let me spill a secret – this new bag is technically my sister's...I may or may not have convinced her to buy it, so I get to borrow it. 😉 I'm in love with how soft it feels, and those pockets, they're like little space expanders! Plus, the quilted details and that zipper all around the bag – pure perfection.

Maybe I should consider going back to florals and bright colors soon. What do you think of this look? Let me know your thoughts!

Peace out! ✌️

X-WOMAN

Dress - H&M
Blazer - H&M

Sunglasses - (some small boutique from Canada)
Necklace - Forever21
Boots - H&M

Happy Wednesday! There are those days when I just feel like dressing up, and it's not always for a special occasion. Most of the time, my outfit choices are driven by my mood rather than the event. Today, I had initially planned to wear a skirt, but after receiving a package from H&M, I couldn't resist this comfy jersey dress. To add a touch of pizzazz, I paired it with some high platform booties and a stylish blazer. The transformation was instant, turning my casual dress into something special.

I have a little game I play with myself where I try to sum up my posts in just two words for the title. I pondered over options like "X strips," "X mark," "black stripes," and "vertical illusion." Then it hit me - X-Men! High heels really do give us ladies a kind of superpower; they make us walk taller and feel sexier, don't they? So, I decided to call this post "x-woman."

Stay fabulous, and enjoy your day! 😊
